Félicitations à Ran van der Wal (McGill University), récipiendaire de la bourse de soutien à la publication avec le soutien d'un mentor. Elle sera soutenue par la Professeure Kate Zinszer (Université de Montréal). Congratulations to Ran van der Wal, winner of the 2020-2021 Support for writing a publication with a mentor competition. Vous disposez d’une ou de banques de données qualitatives ou quantitatives créées lors de vos projets antérieurs, vous avez des questions de recherche qui pourraient être abordées grâce à ces données et vous êtes donc convaincus que ces dernières pourraient être davantage exploitées avec l’aide d’un étudiant boursier ? Cet appel est pour vous!

Do you have qualitative and/or quantitative data from previous projects that could be used for additional analyses? Do you have research questions that you would like to have addressed using these data? And could you benefit from having a student trainee (with a bursary) who could conduct these analyses? If yes, then this call is for you!

Si celle-ci est suffisamment avancée et que vous cherchez un mentor pour vous accompagner dans la rédaction et la soumission à une revue, ce concours est pour vous! Deux bourses de 5000 $ sont offertes.

It responds to a recently published a bold commentary (by King and Koski) in BMJ Global Health that defines global health as ‘public health somewhere else’. An article written by a working group of the Global Health Axis and its Global Health Research Capacity Strengthening (GHR-CAPS) Program (QPHRN). This paper aims to contribute to the discussion on how global health research (GHR) mentorship initiatives can best help prepare the next generation of GH researchers.
